Father & Sons Cleaning will visit your location and offer recommendations on deep cleaning and disinfecting your facility during the COVID-19 outbreak. Guidelines we provide coincide with those laid out by the US CDC(Center For Disease Control & Prevention). Our staff is properly trained and wear the appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) throughout the cleaning process. We insure disinfectant utilized is approved for use against the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. Disinfectants with the following ingredients are believed to be less harmful to allergies and overall human health: hydrogen peroxide, citric acid, lactic acid, isopropyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol.
- Start by cleaning all surfaces with a detergent or general purpose cleaner to remove all visible soil or stains before applying a disinfectant. Some disinfectants are also cleaners and can be used for both steps.
- Rinse surface with water after cleaning
- Minimize cross contamination, disinfect surfaces from clean areas to dirty areas. For example, restrooms being one of the highly contaminated areas should be cleaned last
- Disinfect surfaces from high areas to low areas so that any dirt or dust that may contain germs dislodged from above are removed when you clean the low surfaces
- Studies indicate COVID-19 may last a few hours or several days on surfaces, depending on temperature, humidity or surface type. For this reason, high touch surfaces should be consistently cleaned and disinfected.

Open outside doors and windows to increase air circulation in the area
Close off areas used by confirmed or suspected COVID-19 persons and wait (24) hours, if possible before starting cleaning and disinfecting to minimize potential exposure to respiratory droplets
